We made it home on Saturday night. We are thankful for the staff at Covenant Hospital and the many friends and family that came to visit us mostly on Friday.
It was fun to bring Isaac home to Asher. We’ve been trying to prepare him for a while and I think he’s doing pretty well. He just told me earlier tonight when Isaac gets older, he’s going to teach him to run and jump and throw a baseball. :)
My brother and I are the same age apart as Asher and Isaac. It will be fun to see them grow up together.
I’m back to my responsibilities at Camp. Twice a year, almost everyone on staff deep cleans every building that the campers walk through. It’s kind of tedious, but enjoyable to spend time with other staff that you don’t work with regularly. I spent most of today dusting high things from a ladder and disinfecting bunk-bed mattresses. Since that’s not very exciting, here are more cute pictures. -DH

We are so excited for your family. Our new nephew/cousin is just as cute as Asher. We are going to try to come see you this summer. We love you all lots. Johnny, Bev and Deana
Asher looks so happy to have a little brother!!! We’re blessed to have gotten to see you all in the hospital.
I’m so glad to see Asher in a happy picture with Isaac. He will be a great teacher of ball skills.
I’m so glad you are adjusting to your new life! Love, Mom
Oh, I just LOVE Asher’s face and excitement! Congratulations, you guys!!
